Graphics Design

First impressions account for more than 50 percent of the entire experience of a place.  Every user of the web has been trained to be a visual learner of some kind.  According to UNESCO, the United States has 50% of it’s population at a low reading level.  Only 19% were at a high reading level.  So, that’s 81% of the population that is visually oriented in their learning, communication and decision making styles.

It is crucial we make a great first impression and speak clearly with the images we choose.  Images convey so much feeling and information.  Even in movies, every book laying on a table, every product in someone’s hand has been placed there on purpose to communicate something to the audience.

Know what it is that your audience, your customer,  is looking for and communicate it effectively.  What is so ironic is that for people, our websites and graphic pieces need powerful and numerous images; but for Search Engines, our websites need text and a lot of it.  What an ironic switch that it is the computers, now, that read and the people that need pictures.

So make sure that the foot you are putting forward is your best foot forward.
